Enhanced Pedestrian Crossing
An Ada County Highway District project awarded in early 2021, was designed for a new pedestrian crossing and crosswalk as well as an upgrade to the existing irrigation line running across 5 Mile Rd and Smoke Ranch Dr. Peak Concrete Construction’s scope included new curb, gutter, sidewalk, new 30” C900 PVC pipeline from an existing irrigation box across 5 mile road connecting into a new irrigation box and then running the same 30” line across Smoke Ranch Dr. Also included on this job was electrical for the new pedestrian crossings, erosion control, traffic control and striping.
Peak was able to do all of the removals of concrete, unsuitable material, import of aggregate, installation of new 30” pipe, setting of the new irrigation box, and asphalt and concrete prep. While Peak Concrete provided all the curb, gutter, sidewalk, and closure pours in order to finish the job.
