This project was publicly bid in fall of 2021, Peak Concrete was awarded this project by ACHD and was able to complete on time and on budget paving in spring on 2022. This project was going on at the same time as the 24th St Road and Bridge Project for ACHD as well. The PVC piping was used inside of an old stiffleg flume that has a sidewalk concrete cap over top. The rest of the project was tearing out and redoing corners of intersections to install "bulb" our landings to help slow traffic and provide safer walkways for pedestrians.
